About Marcus Moreland, LPC-A

Wellness and Talk Therapy in Dallas, Texas

I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University and I provide therapy for adults and adolescents.

For the past several years I’ve had the privilege of working alongside adults and adolescents on their unique journeys towards healing and growth. I’ve worked across various settings, including private practice and student counseling centers. Through this work, I’ve had the honor of witnessing the strength of the human spirit navigating life’s complexity.

I’ve encountered a wide array of presenting difficulties, ranging from the challenges of life’s transitions and the weight of depression and anxiety, to the profound impacts of severe trauma. Regardless of the path that has brought us here, I understand the universal desire to be seen, heard, understood, and respected, free from the fear of judgment or undue scrutiny.

I’m passionate about working with people from all walks of life, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodiverse backgrounds. Honoring your identities I consider essential, as I understand they can mold our human experience.

I’ve found immense fulfillment in guiding individuals through their vulnerabilities, understanding that it’s in those moments of vulnerability where true growth and healing often take root. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy lies in the strength of the therapeutic relationship. It’s in this space that we can increase self-awareness, nurture confidence, and explore the depths of who you are. Together, we’ll create a non-judgmental place where your true self can learn to flourish.

I am currently a Licensed Professionl Counselor- Associate providing services under the supervision of Dr. Jaya Mathew and Jessica Callahan, MA, LPC-S, RYT. I look forward to being of support in your journey towards healing!
