I earned my bachelor’s degree from Duke University and doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, XULA.
I have served children, adolescents, adults, and families for 7 years in a variety of contexts including outpatient mental health, medical centers, community mental health, and educational settings. I treat clients from a holistic standpoint, utilizing an integrative approach to treatment with a basis in evidence based practices. I have achieved advanced training and practice in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis on sexual abuse and hold a certificate in the specialty of Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International. My role is to utilize my clinical insight and expertise to facilitate growth in the areas of clients’ lives they deem most important.
I am dedicated to aiding in the quality of life improvement of adolescents, adults, and couples who present with a variety of mental health concerns, including trauma, grief, lgbtq and racial stress, anxiety, depression, and parenting issues.
I am passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma and grief with the understanding that the journey is not linear. I enjoy coaching parents in strengthening their relationships with their children. I am also passionate about assisting birthing people in understanding and navigating their birth experiences.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology providing psychotherapy services under the supervision of Dr. Jaya Mathew. I am excited to help you in your growth journey.
